I did not have the opportunity to meet Jack or Herman but they provided a restful beautiful stay in Umhlanga. Providing a daily cleaning lady, Sam, was over the top. Everything worked well. Loved the tub!

We absolutely loved our stay at D3 Sea Lodge. It is clean, modern and really beautiful. Quality and friendly service. This is definitely our new go-to spot whenever we visit uMhlanga.

We really enjoyed our stay in the spacious apartment with everything we needed for our 3 week stay. The sea and Durban views were a high point. Undercover secure parking was provided, but there was little need to use a car due to restaurants, cafes, shops, and the beach being very nearby. The apartment is in a beautiful and well-maintained secure complex too. We will no doubt return when next we travel to Umhlanga, especially since our host was a pleasure to deal with and he made us feel right at home.
